Hi Matt, AJ & Olivia! It was so great to sneak a visit in yesterday and get to hold Olivia and have a great talk with Matt. Sorry we missed you AJ, but you definately desired a little time with "the girls". Still love those pictures and we hope you continue with the website even after you bring her home. Its just a great way to keep up on things. All of you continue to be in our thoughts and prayers. Stay strong! We love you!

AJ, Matt and Olivia.....just wanted you to know that we all have been thinking about you all, I talked to Jarrod today and he said that he hopes all is well and that you all are home soon....that goes for me, Casey, Alexis and Buz! We continue to be WOWED at Adrienne's love, commitment and great Mommie sense and at Matt's ability to schedule life and priorities. God sure knew what he was doing when he picked out Olivia's parents. XXOO

Here is what my mom is trying to let everyone know: I'm having trouble with the website over the weekend, so I figured I'd put together an email for now. PLEASE forward this to anyone who normally checks the website updates..THANKS! The doctor visited today and told us that they're planning on sending us home THIS FRIDAY!!! :-) Olivia has blood-work today and tomorrow, a urine test tomorrow and another spinal tap Thursday. It's going to be a busy week, but we see a very very bright light at the end of the tunnel! The doctor, however, still does have a few concerns. First, her sodium and potassium levels are still a little off. He's not sure why. The wrong levels of sodium in her body can cause seizures. Although he doesn't think it will get this bad, he still thinks it's something we need to watch. The other thing that worries him is her white blood cell count. To make things simple, he basically said that her white count is down TOO far now. If she were to come in contact with any more bacteria, she doesn't have enough white blood cells to fight it off. If she starts running a fever, he doesn't think she'd be able to break it. So, we need to keep an eye on her! He's pretty sure the inconsistencies in her sodium, potassium, and white blood cells are mainly due to her heavy doses of antibiotics. He thinks her body will correct itself once she's done with them. When we got home, we'll have to take her for blood tests a few times a week to make sure... Olivia's pic line snapped the other day. Luckily, it broke off outside her scalp, not inside her anywhere. Now she has a normal little IV in her hand-they're hoping it will last until we leave. Please pray that bad germs stay away from her during these last few, very important, days at the hospital!!
