rspec's mocking framework is staying put
05 Sep 2007On the rspec-users mailing list there’s been talk recently of removing the built-in mocking framework. The idea was that it offered nothing that the existing mocking frameworks like Mocha, Flexmock or Hardmock didn’t already offer.
The other day David Chelimsky announced in this “post”:http://www.nabble.com/Re%3A-Deprecating-the-mocking-framework–p12463749.html that it will be keeping rspec’s mocking framework for the foreseeable future.
