Model Conductor Controller Presentation
on July 21, 2007 @ 05:03 AM
Tonight at the Grand Rapids BarCamp they had open slots for presentations, so I threw up a quick presentation on the Model Conductor Controller ( MCC ) pattern being developed in Rails.
Although MCC isn’t officially released yet (available via svn) its goals, ideals and implementation help simplify complex interactions in Rails-based web applications by allowing objects to focus on a single responsibility.
Here is a link to the Quicktime movie. MCC_BarCamp_GrandRapids_07-21-07.mov
I’ll be updating this presentation and fine tuning it some more for the August Grand Rapids Ruby Users Group meeting.
